Black-owned, LGBTQ-owned gender-neutral clothing in sizes XS to 5X.
17th & Granville is a Black-owned, LGBTQ-owned, nonbinary-owned clothing brand founded by Anissa “Donny” Truitt in Waldorf, Maryland. We design gender-neutral apparel in sizes XS to 5X, including t-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, and accessories. Nothing is sized or sorted by gender. We’re certified by the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce as an LGBT Business Enterprise. A portion of every purchase goes to BIPOC-led and LGBTQ+-led businesses and mutual aid.
We make clothes you don't have to explain.
Our clothing isn't designed or sized by gender. There's no men's or women's section. Every piece is cut and sized to work for any body, so you don't have to decide which side of the store you belong in.
Founder Anissa "Donny" Truitt started 17th & Granville in 2021 after years in tech leadership, because the brand she wanted didn't exist. The name is family. 17th is for the birthdays on her mother's side, Granville a name from her father's.
Donny hand presses several items in our most recent collections. Around 90% of our garment blanks are organic or recycled cotton. Most designs run XS to 5X.
A portion of every purchase goes to BIPOC-led and LGBTQ+-led businesses, mutual aid funds, and grassroots work focused on housing, healing, and justice.
We ship across the United States and internationally, and appear at pop-ups, Pride festivals, and community markets throughout the DMV and Chicago.
