Bloom LGBTQ+ is a community app created by two women, Lenie from South Africa and Ninna from Sweden, who believe that connection should be about so much more than dating.
Bloom welcomes LGBTQIA+ adults aged 18 and older, offering opportunities for friendship, community, meaningful relationships and wellbeing support.
Developed independently and launched on Android in July 2026, Bloom is growing into an international space where everyone deserves the opportunity to feel seen, supported and included.
We believe nobody is ever too old, too far away or too late to Bloom.

Bloom LGBTQ+ was born from a love story that crossed two continents.
We are Lenie Maré from South Africa and Ninna Andersson from Sweden, two women who met online in December 2025, almost 10,000 kilometres apart. What began as an unexpected friendship blossomed into love and inspired us to build something bigger.
We created Bloom because we believe the LGBTQIA+ community deserves more than just dating apps. Everyone deserves meaningful friendships, chosen family, understanding and a place where they can truly belong.
Built independently by the two of us, Bloom launched on Android in July 2026. Our app brings together friendship, community, wellbeing resources, language translation and safety-focused features, with dating entirely optional.
We are still growing, learning and improving every day, but our mission remains simple: to help people find their people, wherever they are in the world.
Because everyone deserves a place to Bloom. 🌈
